OUR MISSION
The mission of LICANY is to provide a united and cohesive front of the Liberia Community in New York City. LICANY promotes multiculturalism as fundamental in defining what it means to be Americans in the modern time and to address issues of concern for Liberians, while recognizing and celebrating efforts that have been made by many African Americans to settle in and contribute in various ways to this society.
OUR VISION
African communities make up a large proportion of migrants in the United State, and we realized with a steady influx of people from countries in Africa like Liberia, Sudan, Somalia, Congo and Burundi, the population would continue to grow. LICANY aims to prepare every eligible Liberian in New York City to become a responsible, united, participating citizen and leader. Send us a message today to become a member
